# Settings, export and deleting your account

> Change your profile and password, export your data, delete your account and find what is new.

**Settings** holds your profile, your password and your data. Open it from the left navigation. It has three tabs: **Profile**, **Security** and **Data**.

## Profile

On **Profile**, **Email** is your sign-in address. It cannot be changed yet. You can change:

* **Display name**: shown in the app and in emails to you.
* **Time zone**: every time in DealToaster shows in this zone, and new mailboxes and sequences start in it. Existing ones keep their own.

**Sender details** are optional. They fill the sender variables in the emails of your sequences:

| **Calendar link** | `{{sender_calendar_url}}`. It must be an address that starts with `https://`, and you can use it as a link target, for example to let a contact book a call. |

Select **Save changes**, and the page confirms **Profile saved.**

## Security

On **Security**, enter your **Current password** and a **New password** of at least 10 characters. Changing it signs you out on every other device; this device stays signed in. If you forgot your password, reset it from the sign-in page instead.

## Export your data

On **Data**, select **Export my data**. DealToaster prepares a ZIP with your contacts, sequences, sent and received messages, mailboxes and settings, as CSV and JSON files. It is prepared in the background, usually within 15 minutes, and you get a notification, and an email, when it is ready.

The list of exports shows each one as **Queued**, **Preparing**, **Ready** with a **Download** button, **Failed** or **Expired**. The download works for 24 hours after the export finishes. After that, start a new export.

## Delete your account

On **Data**, **Delete account** deletes your account and everything in it: contacts, sequences, the history of sent emails and replies, mailboxes and settings. Mailboxes are disconnected, and Google is asked to revoke DealToaster's access. This cannot be undone.

**1. Open the dialog**

Select **Delete account**. The dialog is titled **Delete your account?**

**2. Confirm**

Enter your **Password** and type DELETE in the confirmation field, then select **Delete account** in the dialog.

**3. Done**

You are signed out, the sign-in page says **Your account was deleted.**, and a confirmation email goes to your address.

## Help

The **Help** row at the bottom of the left navigation offers:

* **What's new**: opens the list of changes. A dot shows on **Help** while there is a newer release than the last one you opened.
* The version of DealToaster you are running.
